Location: Downtown Seattle, WA
Job Type: Full-time - Contract
Salary: $18 - $22 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mail Clerk to join our clients team in Downtown Seattle. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and distributing packages, and maintaining an organized mailroom. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and working with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments
- Prepare and process outgoing mail (letters, parcels, etc.)
- Track, log, and update mailroom inventory systems
- Handle special delivery items, including certified and overnight mail
- Maintain the mailroom in a neat and orderly fashion
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a mailroom or administrative role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 30 pounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
