LHH has partnered with a great firm in Seattle, WA who is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join their team and support our attorneys in delivering compassionate, efficient, and high-quality legal services.
Key Responsibilities
As a Probate Paralegal, you will play a vital role in managing probate cases from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
Document Preparation: Draft petitions, motions, orders, and other legal documents related to probate proceedings.
Client Support: Assist clients with form completion, respond to inquiries, and provide regular case updates.
Case Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date case files, ensuring timely access to critical documents.
Legal Research: Conduct research to support attorneys in developing case strategies and arguments.
Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with the appropriate courts, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedural rules.
Qualifications & Skills
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a probate paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of probate laws, court procedures, and legal terminology.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in document preparation and case tracking.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
Empathy: A compassionate approach to supporting clients during emotionally challenging times.
