LHH Is partnering with a non-profit who is looking for a temporary part-time Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. QuickBooks experience is also crucial since the department is migrating to QuickBooks. Any experience with system conversions or process improvements is highly preferred. This position will consist of part-time hours and a flexible schedule, but it’s fully onsite in the downtown Seattle office. You will work with a friendly team and get to help with this software project.



Key Responsibilities


  • Record and maintain sales, purchases, receipts, and payments records

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to match financial records with bank statements

  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations

  • Assist with accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payments, and following up on overdue accounts

  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

  • Help prepare and file tax returns, ensuring timely submissions

  • Provide support during audits with necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries

  • Transfer and review accounting data from the current accounting software to QuickBooks


Qualifications


  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred

  • At least five years of experience as a bookkeeper or a similar role

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • High level of integrity and professionalism


Employment Details


  • Temporary for five months

  • Part-time hours, around 30/week

  • Fully onsite in downtown Seattle, WA



Pay Details: $38.00 to $42.00 per hour
