Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for patient care? LHH is looking for an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic Medical Oncology/Radiation Oncology Team. If you excel in scheduling, coordination, and patient communication, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Appointment Coordination: Schedule and adjust appointments based on patient needs, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate with departments like transportation and interpreter services to enhance patient care.
Patient Communication: Contact patients for appointment reminders or changes, and conduct discharge follow-up calls.
Admissions & Records: Schedule inpatient admissions, manage patient records, and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
Insurance & Billing Assistance: Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and assist patients with billing inquiries.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an Intake Coordinator, with expertise in EPIC and clinic intake operations.
Oncology Experience: Familiarity with oncology or cancer care is essential.
Critical Thinking: Strong skills in checking charts, medical records, and resolving issues.
