Payroll Consultant - Remote

$36.00 - $40.00 per Hour


LHH is partnering with a company in the retail space to identify a temporary Payroll Consultant to assist them for the next few months. You will be processing payroll and assisting with benefit administration, but majority of your focus will be to create SOPs for the department. Since they are looking for someone who doesn’t need a lot of training on the system, they are looking for someone with UKG experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time using our payroll system.
  • Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Create process procedure documents for the payroll department.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll processing experience.
  • Proficient in UKG payroll processing software.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Details:


  • Temporary for 2 months
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST
  • Fully remote
