Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate employee data and financial records.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- At least three years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and relevant laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Temporary for at least six months.
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Hybrid after training in Seattle, WA.
Pay Details: $32.00 to $36.00 per hour
