Payroll Specialist

Location: Seattle, WA

Contract Duration: 1 Month

LHH is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist with experience in HRIS to join our team for a 1-month contract in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration. This role requires a strong understanding of HRIS systems and the ability to handle payroll-related tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll records in the HRIS system.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data, including timekeeping records, deductions, and benefits.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
  • Provide support for payroll audits and other related projects as needed.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) is required.
  • Strong understanding of payroll practices and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.


Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
