LHH is partnering with a professional services firm to identify a temporary to hire Payroll Supervisor for their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing part of the payroll department and ensuring that all payroll processes are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of payroll processing experience and have some experience managing others. This position offers fully remote work for anyone who is located in the pacific time zone. You will work with a supportive management team and get exposure to a variety of responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the payroll staff.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports and ensure accurate calculation of wages.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management.
  • Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of payroll information.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll processing role.
  • At least a year of previous leadership or managerial experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in ADP payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.



Pay Details: $38.00 to $45.00 per hour
