Property Manager (Affordable Housing) – Temp-to-Hire
📍 Seattle, WA | 🕗 M–F, 8AM–5PM | 💵 $30–33/hr | 🔁 Temp-to-Hire (~3 months)
A mission-driven affordable housing provider is seeking a skilled Property Manager to oversee operations at one of their residential communities in Seattle. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a meaningful, high-impact role for someone passionate about housing equity and community well-being.
🏢 About the Role:
You'll lead day-to-day site management including tenant relations, leasing, compliance, maintenance coordination, and fiscal operations. This role also includes oversight of on-site staff and collaboration with services teams to support residents who may be transitioning from homelessness or managing health-related challenges.
🔧 Responsibilities:
Oversee daily property operations, lease-ups, recertifications, and rent collection
Supervise and support onsite staff including maintenance and admin teams
Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests and unit turnovers
Serve as primary liaison for residents, contractors, and compliance agencies
Maintain accurate records, KPIs, and property reports
Monitor budgets, process invoices, and manage vendor relationships
Uphold housing quality standards and fair housing laws
Collaborate with services teams to support resident stability
✅ Requirements:
3+ years of on-site property management experience, including team supervision
Strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance and Washington landlord-tenant law
Experience with software like Boston Post or MRI (conversion in progress)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Familiarity with Section 42/Tax Credit housing preferred
Valid WA driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background screening
