LHH has partnered with a great firm in Seattle, WA who is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to support their attorneys in Seattle and across other firm offices. This hybrid role offers a flexible work arrangement, with a minimum of two in-office days per week based on team needs and workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality legal support in real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Draft and prepare legal documents including deeds, bills of sale, assignments, title insurance policies, and closing binders.

  • Conduct due diligence investigations (e.g., municipal liens, zoning, UCC, environmental, tax, and entity qualifications).

  • Prepare real estate closing statements, calculate prorations, and manage trust receipts, disbursements, and wire transfers.

  • Coordinate execution and delivery of closing documents and assist with the full closing process.

  • Handle post-closing tasks such as document recording, title updates, and binder preparation.

  • Communicate proactively to manage workload and meet deadlines with high-quality results.

  • Support attorneys across multiple offices as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred; equivalent experience considered. High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in real estate law, including drafting purchase and sale agreements, title and survey review, and managing closings.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, and staff.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems (e.g., NetDocs).

  • Advanced Word skills, including use of styles, track changes, and document comparison tools.
