Remote In-House Counsel – Litigation & Investigations
Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Based)
Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction
About the Role
LHH is working with a great company who is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented In-House Counsel to join their legal team. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a non-adversarial, team-driven environment and enjoys a broad mix of legal work—from internal investigations to managing outside counsel on complex disputes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct factual investigations and internal interviews across departments.
Provide legal advice and risk assessments to internal business clients.
Review and interpret contracts and other legal documents.
Manage small disputes directly with opposing counsel.
Oversee large-scale litigation by coordinating with external law firms.
Draft clear, concise legal communications and internal reports.
What We’re Looking For
A strong legal generalist with excellent investigative and writing skills.
A team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
This role is non-litigious and does not involve court appearances or billable hours.
Experience in both law firm and in-house settings is highly preferred.
Backgrounds in commercial, employment, regulatory, or compliance law are welcome.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
Demonstrated experience in internal investigations, dispute resolution, or litigation management.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Pay: $60 - $145 per hour, DOE

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
