LHH is partnering with a firm in the construction industry that is looking for a temporary to hire Senior Billing Specialist for their team. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in invoicing, managing client inquiries, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of billing experience and be extremely detail oriented since you will be working with contracts and different rates. Also, professional communication skills are crucial since this position requires coordination with other departments and external clients.
Responsibilities:
Generate and review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure timely billing in accordance with company policies and client contracts.
Resolve billing discrepancies and issues promptly.
Manage and maintain client accounts, including setting up new accounts and making adjustments as necessary.
Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and resolve any disputes or issues.
Prepare and analyze billing reports, summaries, and other financial documents.
Monitor and track aging reports, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure seamless integration between billing and financial reporting.
Coordinate with sales, customer service, and other departments to address billing-related concerns and facilitate smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, accounting, or a related field.
Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour
