LHH is partnering with a company in the logistics industry to search for a permanent Staff Accountant for their team. You will be working directly with the Accounting Manager to handle the reconciliations and financial reporting each month. You will work on a team but will need to be comfortable learning quickly and reaching out if you need direction. This role provides support for anyone who is looking to build their accounting career and pursue additional education or CPA certification. Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.


• Process journal entries and research variances.


• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.


• Manage fixed asset reporting and calculations monthly.


• Support the preparation of financial reports and analysis.


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.


• Additional ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.


• At least one year of accounting experience.


• Professional communication skills and ability to work with others well.


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Employment Details:

• Direct hire position.


• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.


• Fully onsite in south Seattle, WA.
