Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Secaucus, NJ (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

About Us:

LHH is working with a fast-growing company located in Secaucus, NJ, dedicated to delivering excellence in logistics. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to support our client’s finance department and help maintain the accuracy of their financial records.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing

· Prepare and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets

· Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

· Enter and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software

· Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

· Respond to vendor inquiries and assist with resolving discrepancies

· Maintain organized digital and physical financial records

· Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)

· 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
