We're on the lookout for an upbeat and reliable Medical Office Admin who takes pride in caring for patients and ensuring smooth workflows throughout the office. This position is a contract role covering for a leave, so it's a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a difference.
What You'll Do:
Welcome Patients: Be the friendly face that greets and assists patients as they arrive.
Handle Payments: Collect copays and other payments with a smile.
Verify Insurance: Ensure patient insurance information is accurate and up-to-date.
Manage Authorizations: Obtain necessary authorizations for procedures and treatments.
Schedule Appointments: Keep our schedule running smoothly by confirming and scheduling patient appointments.
Assist with Admin Tasks: Jump in to help with various administrative tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting.
Skills: Proficient in collecting copays and verifying insurance.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Multitasking: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
this is an ONSITE position, Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM
Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
