LHH Technology is partnering with a leading nonprofit organization to identify a proactive IT Support Specialist for an immediate contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role, you will be a vital contributor to daily IT operations, lead infrastructure refreshes, and support cloud integration projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is hands-on, self-directed, and eager to grow in a meaningful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Active Directory (user accounts, permissions, group policies).
Support Azure environments including Azure AD, virtual machines, and networking.
Monitor and manage Windows Servers and Cisco Catalyst switch infrastructure.
Leverage Freshservice (Freshworks) for ticketing and asset tracking.
Drive seasonal IT projects such as Wi-Fi upgrades and server/switch replacements.
Provide remote and onsite support to internal users and teams.
Research and implement AI tools to enhance internal systems.
Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
Required Qualifications:
2–3+ years of experience with Active Directory administration.
2–3+ years of experience in networking and infrastructure support.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and Microsoft Cloud Services.
Familiarity with Freshservice or similar IT ticketing systems.
Understanding of Cisco Catalyst switches and remote troubleshooting tools.
Strong communication, organization, and task management skills.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and learn emerging technologies independently.
Preferred Attributes:
Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented.
Experienced in vendor coordination and managing small projects.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, mission-oriented environment.
