LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company local to Monmouth County, NJ. We are seeking a Temporary FP&A Manager to support a fast-paced, private equity-backed organization during a critical transition period. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly integrate into a dynamic environment.

Temporary FP&A Manager – Immediate Start

Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in Monmouth County, NJ
Duration: 30–40 day assignment
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $50–$65/hour (commensurate with experience)
Industry: Private Equity-Backed (strongly preferred)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead short-term financial planning and analysis initiatives to support strategic decision-making
  • Develop and refine forecasting models, cash flow projections, and budget variance analysis
  • Partner with department heads to gather data and provide actionable insights
  • Support monthly close and reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist in preparing board-level presentations and investor reports
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting and analysis
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure financial alignment

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, preferably in a private equity-backed environment
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
