- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Find and register new vendors.
- Prepare and review RFPs and bids.
- Update our purchasing records and website.
- Coordinate with departments to meet our diversity goals.
- Prepare reports for the City Council.
- Assist with vendor questions and contract management.
- Help maintain our purchasing policies and procedures.
- Attend meetings and events related to purchasing.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Must have at least an Associates Degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Ability to handle daily, weekly, monthly, and annual calendars and scheduling
- Strong communication
