Responsibilities of this direct hire Staff Accountant job include:
Spearhead the development of operational plans.
Assist in preparing the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and other required documents for submission to the parent company.
Oversee both internal and external corporate audits.
Lead the pre-audit and provide support to auditees.
Generate and analyze the financial package reporting and other monthly reports, including balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis.
Compile monthly forecast files by downloading sales forecast data.
Review and forecast monthly cash flow, including reporting to the parent company.
Reconcile monthly bank accounts and monitor cash balances.
Distribute commission reports to the representatives.
Calculate commissions paid via the parent company.
Prepare monthly inventory reports with key notes, including sales/COGS reports and purchasing reconciliations.
Prepare revenue accrual journal entries and annual property tax reports.
Prepare inventory journal entries and lead the annual and semi-annual inventory reconciliations.
Review, administer, and upload all expenses posted in Concur to ERP.
Perform additional duties, analyses, and projects assigned by management.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP or other large ERP software.
Attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
Effective communication with co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
Self driven and able to work under minimal supervision.
