Patient Registration
Location: Solon, OH
Contract Length: Minimum 13-week contract

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected healthcare organization in the Solon, OH area to hire a Patient Registration Specialist for an immediate opening. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for patients and providing exceptional service during each interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely patient registration, including verifying insurance, collecting copays, and updating patient demographics

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients entering the facility—greeting patients warmly and professionally

• Schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and provide direction to patients and visitors

• Ensure patient charts and information are complete and ready for services

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all confidentiality regulations

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and patient throughput

• Communicate effectively with patients regarding coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and financial responsibility

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in patient registration, patient access, or front desk in a healthcare setting preferred

• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is a plus

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and nicotine test
