Job Title: Buyer

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Buyer manages procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, supplier relations, and inventory control. This role supports operational goals through collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and performance.

• Place and manage purchase orders aligned with business and inventory goals.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order issues and ensure fulfillment.

• Monitor and adjust inventory levels to minimize excess and meet demand.

• Maintain procurement records and analyze trends for planning.

• Negotiate cost-effective deals and forecast supplier volumes.

• Evaluate supplier performance and support quality assurance.

• Research and onboard new vendors to ensure competitive sourcing.

• Use Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain management.

• 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.

• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Prolonged periods of desk work.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
