Job Title: Collections Specialist

Overview:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client of ours located in Southfield, MI that is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collections Specialist. This is a Contract position lasting at least 6 months. Our client is in the healthcare industry and needs extra support at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the collection of outstanding accounts receivable.

• Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve payment issues.


• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and account statuses.


• Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate invoicing.


• Prepare reports on collection activities and account statuses.


• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and company policies.

  Qualifications:

  - Proven experience in collections, preferably in the healthcare industry.



• Strong communication and negotiation skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collections software.


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  Fully on-site

Compensation: $21–24/hr

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
