Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well-regarded law firm in Springfield, Oregon to find a Legal Assistant with a strong background in transactional work. This full-time, on-site role supports attorneys across multiple practice areas and requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in commercial transactions, corporate matters, elder law, and litigation
- Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Manage calendars and accurately docket deadlines
- File documents using Oregon’s e-filing system
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Ensure compliance with state and federal court procedures
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in relevant practice areas
- Proficient in word processing with strong formatting and proofreading skills
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and team-oriented approach with a client-service mindset
