LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking MULTIPLE Accounting Specialists for openings in St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas. Ideal candidates will have experience managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

Title: Accounting Specialist
Type: Permanent (We do also have temporary and temp-to-hire openings)
Location: St. Louis, MO & Surrounding Areas
Schedule: Monday - Friday; Standard hours of operation

Compensation will vary upon experience:
  • Entry-Level: $40,000 - $55,000
  • Mid-Level: $60,000 - $80,000
  • Senior-Level: $86,000 -$140,000+
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and records.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Handle payroll processing and related activities.
  • Assist with audits and tax filings as needed.
  • Provide support to the finance team with various accounting projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
