Title: Accounting Specialist
Type: Permanent (We do also have temporary and temp-to-hire openings)
Location: St. Louis, MO & Surrounding Areas
Schedule: Monday - Friday; Standard hours of operation
Compensation will vary upon experience:
- Entry-Level: $40,000 - $55,000
- Mid-Level: $60,000 - $80,000
- Senior-Level: $86,000 -$140,000+
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Handle payroll processing and related activities.
- Assist with audits and tax filings as needed.
- Provide support to the finance team with various accounting projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
