Title: Billing Specialist
Type: Direct Hire/Permanent
Location: St. Louis, MO (100% on-site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday; flexible; standard hours of operation
Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 annual (flexible upon experience)

Job Description:
- Billing Preparation and Processing: Handle billings for multiple Project Managers, ensuring all necessary documentation (e.g., lien waivers and job cost backup) is included.
- Time and Materials (T&M) Billing: Oversee incoming work orders, verify job costs in Vista, ensure accurate labor and tool rental rates, and confirm correct profit/overhead markups.
- Adjustments and Modifications: Make billing and receivable adjustments as directed by the Accounting Manager or Project Manager.
- Contract Review and Submission: Review contracts for billing specifics, submit invoices according to client requirements, and use customer portals as needed.
- Job Information Management: Set up and maintain job details, including phase codes, cost estimates, billing templates, contracts, change orders, and job closings, overseeing the complete billing cycle.
- Billing and Receivables Schedule: Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure timely billing and current accounts receivable.
- Contract Routing: Collaborate with Project Managers, Accounting, customers, and insurance brokers to ensure timely contract processing.
- Cost Adjustments: Prepare and process job cost adjustments as directed by management.
- Monitoring Under-billed Jobs: Assist the Accounting Manager in tracking under-billed jobs.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years billing experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of billing within the construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintains a professional attitude at all times.
- Willing to help with enthusiasm and a team player mentality.
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
