LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking Entry-Bookkeepers in St. Louis, MO for an opening within the tax industry.

Title: Bookkeeper
Type: Temp-to-hire
Location: Des Peres, MO (100% on-site with potential for hybrid schedule post-training)
Schedule: Monday-Friday; Standard hours of operation

Compensation: $40,000 to $45,000 annual

Job Summary: As an Entry-Level Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the tax preparation process, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in bookkeeping and gain valuable experience in the tax industry.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Maintenance:
    • Record daily financial transactions, including income and expenses, in accounting software.
    • Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Reconcile bank statements and accounts monthly.
  2. Tax Support:
    • Assist in preparing financial documents and reports for tax filings.
    • Organize and maintain tax documents and client files.
    • Collaborate with tax preparers to ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns.
  3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
    • Track and manage accounts receivable, follow up on overdue accounts.
    • Prepare and send invoices to clients.
  4. General Accounting Support:
    • Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
    • Help prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
    • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  5. Client Communication:
    • Respond to client inquiries regarding financial transactions and records.
    • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.


Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 per year
