LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineer in St. Louis, MO. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water supply systems. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
Compensation will vary upon experience:
- Entry Level: $70,000 to $75,000 annual
- Mid Level: $80,000 to $95,000 annual
- Senior Level: $100,000 to $120,000 annual
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems.
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to gather data and assess project requirements.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and stability of infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, resolve any issues that arise, and make adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials and equipment to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and documentation to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other design tools.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASCE, ACI, AASHTO).
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
