- Conduct routine inspections of facility systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and machinery, to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions and issues, utilizing specialized tools and techniques to restore functionality in a timely manner.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs, maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and breakdowns, providing effective solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and support overall facility operations.
- Order and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and parts, ensuring availability and proper storage of materials.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as required, including assisting with facility upgrades, renovations, and special projects.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices is helpful.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
- This role may require working in various conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments, and may involve occasional evening or weekend shifts based on facility needs.
