Job Posting: Project Manager – Marketing and Advertising
Location: St. Louis, MO Pay Rate: $34hr to $38 hr depending on experience level Schedule: Onsite Monday-Thursday, Work-from-Home Friday
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in both Marketing and Project Management to join our team. This role involves managing and optimizing project processes, collaborating with internal and external teams, and ensuring the successful execution of high-volume projects. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating expertise in managing marketing and advertising projects across various formats.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project & Process Management:
Develop, own, and communicate comprehensive project timelines to internal and external teams.
Create and manage all project timelines, setup and organize kickoffs, collaborations, and presentations.
Lead internal and brand status meetings, daily standups, and retrospective sessions.
Manage high-volume, quick-turn projects with multiple stakeholders.
Recommend and implement process optimizations using agile principles.
Act as the cross-functional hub for project executions, ensuring successful partnerships and outcomes.
Oversee the production phase of projects, including print, digital, experiential, and content.
Strategically manage communications and consider the full scope of projects.
Financial:
Open jobs using agency software tools.
Work with account leads to accurately scope project jobs.
Issue Purchase Orders (POs) to external vendors.
Agency/Client Service:
Demonstrate a solid understanding of internal and external partner processes.
Manage production-related requests from internal teams, clients, and meta-agency partners.
Gather and vet specifications to ensure project accuracy.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in a project management role within a Marketing/Advertising agency.
Proven track record of contributing to client businesses in an agency environment.
