Job Summary: The Staff Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Support internal and external audits as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
