Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Type: Full-Time, On-Site, Standard hours of operation
Location: St. Louis, MO
Salary Range: $70,000 - $77,000 (very flexible upon experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee international freight operations, focusing on land and sea freight
- Price out freight services, incorporating all necessary components for accurate cost estimation
- Relay critical freight information to and from international locations
- Analyze ocean contracts with liners to extract relevant drayage information
- Understand and manage the costs associated with drayage, including base trucking, fuel, and other related expenses
- Follow up verbal agreements with immediate written documentation to avoid discrepancies
- Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into supply chain performance
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and manage supply chain risks
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Monitor and manage supplier compliance with contractual agreements and performance metrics
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, delays, and quality issues
- Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions
- Monitor global supply chain trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management
- Lead and participate in supply chain projects and initiatives
- Provide constructive input without attempting to overhaul established methods prematurely
- Identify areas for process improvement while respecting existing workflows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, with a focus on international freight
- Demonstrated use of advanced Excel skills and other data analysis tools to conduct in-depth analyses
- Experience in pricing out freight and managing drayage costs
- Strong understanding of international logistics and freight negotiation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on follow-up and documentation
- Willingness to undergo an Excel assessment as part of the selection process.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $77,000.00 per year
