Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Start Date: ASAP (with some overlap training)
Location: Stockton, CA (100% onsite)
Duration: Full-time, permanent (Direct Hire)
Salary: $75K–$90K DOE - Paid Medical and Dental!
Job Duties:
- Manage all HR functions across 28 residential properties — recruitment, employee relations, leaves, and compliance
- Handle leaves of absence (FMLA) and work comp cases — experience required
- Review and adjust employee timecards in Workday, assist with payroll oversight
- Maintain clear, simple communication in English and Spanish for 50% Spanish-speaking employees
- Administer benefits enrollment and open enrollment processes
- Support managers and employees while fostering a warm, professional culture
Requirements:
- 5+ years CA HR experience, ideally with property management background
- Bilingual in Spanish - Conversational can be a fit
- Experience with FMLA, work comp, and payroll systems
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification a plus
- Self-starter who can work independently but values teamwork
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
