Job Title: Human Resources Manager


Start Date: ASAP (with some overlap training)
Location: Stockton, CA (100% onsite)
Duration: Full-time, permanent (Direct Hire)
Salary: $75K–$90K DOE - Paid Medical and Dental!


Job Duties:


  • Manage all HR functions across 28 residential properties — recruitment, employee relations, leaves, and compliance

  • Handle leaves of absence (FMLA) and work comp cases — experience required

  • Review and adjust employee timecards in Workday, assist with payroll oversight

  • Maintain clear, simple communication in English and Spanish for 50% Spanish-speaking employees

  • Administer benefits enrollment and open enrollment processes

  • Support managers and employees while fostering a warm, professional culture


    Requirements:


  • 5+ years CA HR experience, ideally with property management background

  • Bilingual in Spanish - Conversational can be a fit

  • Experience with FMLA, work comp, and payroll systems

  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification a plus

  • Self-starter who can work independently but values teamwork

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
