LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client’s dynamic accounting team. This role focuses heavily on managing deductions and chargebacks within the AR function. This position is onsite and a direct hire paying $65-$70K annually.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR):
· Generate and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders.
· Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments.
· Monitor aging reports and pursue collections.
· Investigate and validate customer deductions.
· Maintain and update customer master data.
· Resolve invoice discrepancies (pricing, quantity, etc.).
· Handle collections, inquiries, and account reconciliations.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
· Meet monthly close deadlines.
· Generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
· Support other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
· Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
· 3–5+ years of AR/AP experience.
· Proficient in QuickBooks; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
· Solid understanding of accounting principles.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
· High attention to detail and urgency.
· Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
· Positive, energetic, and self-motivated.
· Team player with a problem-solving mindset.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
