Bookkeeper

LHH is partnering with a non-profit organization that is searching for a temporary to hire Bookkeeper for their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. Any experience in the non-profit industry is highly desired. Key Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Prepare and process payroll.
- Manage invoices, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Generate financial statements and reports.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Support financial audits with necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Enter financial data into accounting software.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and financial institutions.
Qualifications
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Employment Details
- Temporary to hire.
- Fully onsite in Tacoma, WA.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
