Job Title: Senior HR Generalist (3-Month Contract) LHH is actively interviewing experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our clients team on a 3-month contract in Tacoma, WA. This role will be essential in managing day-to-day human resources functions, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and providing guidance to employees and managers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HR best practices, benefits administration, and employee relations, as well as a deep understanding of federal and Washington State employment laws.

Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Benefits Administration: Act as the primary contact for benefits-related queries, including enrollment, qualifying events, and leave of absence management.
- Employee Relations: Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Compliance: Ensure all HR practices are in line with state and federal regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable employment laws.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate HR records, such as employee status updates, disciplinary documentation, and leave of absence records.
- Training & Communication: Deliver training sessions and clear communications on HR policies, benefits programs, and employee development opportunities.
- HRIS Management: Oversee employee data within the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and consistency across records and systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Payroll, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless HR operations and support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a human resources role, with at least 2 years in a senior generalist capacity.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (ADP or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough understanding of Washington State employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and provide excellent customer service.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $42.00 per hour
