Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temporary – Long term contract)
Location: Tamarac, FL (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $24–$25 per hour
Job Type: Temporary
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Tamarac, FL. This is a fully onsite, indefinite temporary position offering a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and post incoming payments accurately and timely
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Generate and distribute invoices and account statements
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Communicate with clients regarding billing issues and payment status
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
