Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Tampa, FL, 33612 (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $20-$24 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Tampa, FL. This position is 100% onsite and offers a contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing high-volume accounts payable processes and possess strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
