Contract/Temp to Hire
$45.00 - $50.00 per Hour
- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda of law.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffs.
- Collaborate with expert witnesses, including drafting expert reports and affidavits, and participating in conferences.
- Conduct legal research, prepare case strategies, and communicate effectively with clients throughout the litigation process.
- Manage a high volume of litigation cases, from pre-litigation through trial, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
- Law degree (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- 1-7 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury and/or insurance defense.
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases and independently take them to trial.
- Excellent client service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Superior legal writing and oral advocacy abilities.
- Self-motivated, with a focus on long-term career development.
- Employment type: Contract to Hire (conversion typically within 30 days)
- Compensation: $45-50/hr
- Firm will cover benefits, dues, etc.
