Overview: LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our client's dynamic team. This position is remote, allowing the attorney to work from anywhere; however, the candidate must be barred in the state of Florida and be willing to travel to Miami a couple times per month. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting pleadings and motions, attending court calls, engaging in settlement negotiations, and handling case management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in civil litigation matters.
Attend court calls and represent clients in hearings as needed.
Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel.
Manage case deadlines, monitor dockets, and ensure timely updates to clients.
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality legal service.
Maintain organized and accurate case files, including electronic records.
Qualifications:
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
3–5 years of civil litigation experience preferred.
Strong legal writing and research skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with legal research tools and case management syst
Details:
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation: up to $80/hr
