Overview: LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our client's dynamic team. This position is remote, allowing the attorney to work from anywhere; however, the candidate must be barred in the state of Florida and be willing to travel to Miami a couple times per month. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting pleadings and motions, attending court calls, engaging in settlement negotiations, and handling case management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in civil litigation matters.

• Attend court calls and represent clients in hearings as needed.

• Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel.

• Manage case deadlines, monitor dockets, and ensure timely updates to clients.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality legal service.

• Maintain organized and accurate case files, including electronic records.

Qualifications:

• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience preferred.

• Strong legal writing and research skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency with legal research tools and case management syst

Details:

• Employment Type: Contract

• Compensation: up to $80/hr
