$45.00 - $50.00 per Hour

Overview: We are seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in litigation, personal injury, or insurance defense. The ideal candidate will have strong legal drafting, case management, and client interaction skills. This position is open to attorneys with 1-7 years of relevant experience. You will handle a diverse caseload and represent clients throughout the litigation process, from drafting legal documents to attending court hearings. Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda of law.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffs.
  • Collaborate with expert witnesses, including drafting expert reports and affidavits, and participating in conferences.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare case strategies, and communicate effectively with clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Manage a high volume of litigation cases, from pre-litigation through trial, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Law degree (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • 1-7 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury and/or insurance defense.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases and independently take them to trial.
  • Excellent client service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior legal writing and oral advocacy abilities.
  • Self-motivated, with a focus on long-term career development.
Details:
  • Employment type: Contract to Hire (conversion typically within 30 days)
  • Compensation: $45-50/hr
  • Firm will cover benefits, dues, etc.
