LHH is on the lookout for a Corporate Paralegal for one of their clients in the Tampa area. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Corporate Matters, Corporate Governance, Business Transactions, SEC Compliance. Experience in Real Estate and Real Estate planning is a plus. Responsibilities:
Manage a large volume of entity formations, state corporate filings (primarily in Florida, but other jurisdictions as well), lien and litigation searches and related documentation and agreements
Prepare and maintain documents related to corporate governance, including resolutions, meeting minutes, and maintenance of corporate records
Review and analysis of due diligence materials and preparation of disclosure schedules
Support attorneys with legal documentation for business transactions and related matters
Manage and maintain corporate records and databases for partnerships, LLCs, and other entities
Arrange filings and service of documents with federal and state courts, government agencies, and other relevant parties in connection with corporate transactions
Assist with the preparation and organization of client materials and attorney work products using computer-based tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Stay informed on state filing requirements and deadlines for business entities
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
Client service-oriented with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
Experience in iManage and Aderant is a plus
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
At least 5 years of experience in a law firm environment is preferred, with a focus on corporate law
Experience with E-Filing in Florida State and Federal courts is required
Experience with Real Estate and Estate Planning practice areas a plus
Experience with SEC compliance and filings is a plus
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
