LHH is on the lookout for a Trusts & Estates Legal Assistant with a few years of relevant experience to join a well-established law firm in Tampa, Florida. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented legal professional eager to support a bustling Trusts & Estates practice and grow their career in a vibrant legal setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents.
Prepare probate pleadings, court filings, and related correspondence.
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and track important deadlines.
Assist with document management and client communications.
Handle administrative duties including billing, file organization, and matter opening/closing.
Liaise with courts, financial institutions, and clients as needed.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in Trusts & Estates legal support.
Strong knowledge of Florida probate and estate planning procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
