LHH is partnering with a reputable client in Phoenix, AZ, to find an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable, including 3-way matching processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process a high volume of vendor invoices in a timely manner

• Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies

• Prepare and execute weekly check runs and electronic payments

• Support month-end close activities and reporting as needed

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting function

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
