LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Technology Company in Tempe, AZ that is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Payment Processor to the team. This is a Full-Time Monday through Friday position. After training can work a hybrid in-office schedule. Must be local to qualify and must have payment processing experience. $19-$22 per hour depending on experience.

The primary responsibility of this role is to receive, organize, and process customer payments efficiently and accurately. Additionally, the Payment Processor will be responsible for managing payments for multiple entities within the organization, ensuring seamless financial transactions.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Payment Processing: Receive customer payments via mail, separate them by company, and process them accordingly. This may involve sending payments to the bank lockbox or utilizing a check scanner to process remote deposits in the office.


  2. Entity Management: Manage payments for multiple entities including access to various bank accounts.


  3. Check and ACH/Wire Processing: Download PDF copies of checks deposited in our lockbox and post them in our system on the respective customer records. Similarly, download ACH/Wire payments and accurately post them on customer records.


  4. High-Volume Posting: Post payments manually, handling up to 50-200+ payments a day depending on the season.


  5. Additional Tasks: During periods of light payment activity, assist the Accounts Receivable (AR) team with tasks such as downloading invoices, conducting light collections, etc.


  6. Technical Skills: Possess good computer skills to troubleshoot basic issues, especially when working remotely. Familiarity with software including Outlook, Box folders, NetSuite (CRM), Salesforce, and online bank systems is essential.


  7. Document Management: Download, save, and split PDFs with multiple pages efficiently.


  8. Customer Record Management: Experience in searching customer records to identify the correct invoices for payment application.


Qualifications:


  • Previous 1+ year of experience in payment processing or a similar role is required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficiency in using various software applications including Outlook, Box folders, NetSuite, Salesforce, and online banking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing workload demands.
