Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Tempe, AZ (Onsite)
Pay Range: $22/hr - $27/hr
As an A/R Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our accounts receivable processes. Experience in Sage is highly desirable, and expertise in B2B collections will be a valuable asset.
Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate and timely customer invoices.
- Ensure invoices are distributed through appropriate channels.
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Conduct B2B collections activities to ensure timely payment.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address payment issues and resolve disputes.
- Apply payments accurately to customer accounts.
- Reconcile cash receipts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze AR aging reports.
- Generate and present financial reports related to accounts receivable.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Address inquiries and provide necessary documentation to support billing and collections processes.
- Utilize Sage software for efficient and accurate financial transactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sage functionality.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in using Sage software is a strong plus.
- Experience in B2B collections is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
