We are seeking an experienced Business to Consumer Collector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 1 year of experience in collections, preferably in a business to consumer (B2C) environment. As a B2C Collector, you will be responsible for contacting consumers to collect outstanding debts or resolve delinquent accounts. You must possess excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a firm understanding of collection laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Contact consumers via phone, email, and mail to collect outstanding debts.
Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with consumers in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Update account information and maintain accurate records of collection activities.
Follow-up with consumers to ensure payment commitments are met.
Handle consumer inquiries and disputes in a professional and timely manner.
Work closely with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve collection processes.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections, preferably in a business to consumer (B2C) environment.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of collection laws and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collection software.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or related field is a plus.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
