Our client is seeking a skilled Credit & Collections Analyst to join their finance team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in credit evaluation, collections, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing customer credit risk, ensuring timely collections, and supporting financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and prioritize collection activities to ensure timely receipt of payments and support cash flow objectives.
Monitor customer accounts and maintain regular communication to resolve outstanding balances while upholding excellent customer service standards.
Identify and escalate potential payment issues to senior leadership and internal stakeholders to facilitate resolution.
Prepare and deliver regular updates on account statuses and collection performance in line with internal reporting standards.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Cash Applications and Billing to ensure accurate processing and resolution of transactions and disputes.
Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing clients, establish credit limits, and ensure compliance with internal credit policies.
Recommend accounts for third-party collections when necessary and assist in maintaining accurate bad debt reserves.
Support the Credit Manager with ad hoc projects and reporting initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
2–4 years of experience in commercial credit and collections.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle is a strong plus.
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
