LHH Recruitment is partnering with a growing company in Tempe, AZ that is looking to add a Human Resources Benefits Coordinator to their team. This is a full-time Monday through Friday in-office position. Pay range $23.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience.
The Human Resources Benefits Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the administration of employee benefits programs and ensuring a positive employee experience. This position is responsible for coordinating benefits enrollment, responding to employee inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting compliance with applicable laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FMLA, and retirement plans.
- Serve as the first point of contact in Human Resources Department for employee benefits inquiries and provide timely, accurate information.
- Coordinate open enrollment processes and assist employees with benefits selection and changes.
- Maintain and update benefits records in HRIS and ensure data accuracy for payroll and vendor reporting.
- Support the onboarding process by explaining benefits offerings and assisting with enrollment.
- Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate benefits deductions and reconciliations.
- Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and documentation for ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Prepare and distribute benefits communication materials and updates.
- Support wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs related to benefits.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- 2+ years of experience in HR or benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
