LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing company in Tempe, AZ that is looking to hire a full-time on-site Human Resources Generalist to join their team!
This role will focus on full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and be able to manage various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Onboarding: Conduct new employee orientation and lead onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Provide coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, exit interviews, and handle terminations.
- HR Information Systems: Maintain all HR information systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Performance Management: Distribute and monitor employee performance evaluations, ensuring timely completion.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Training and Development: Facilitate or provide training, including orientation, to the workforce.
- Employee Engagement: Handle employee engagement activities and develop initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures; maintain the employee handbook.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources Generalist experience, with a focus on full-cycle recruiting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office.
- Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
Salary: $55k to $65k depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off.
