Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Sr. Procurement Specialist job in Tempe, AZ. To qualify, you must have at least three years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.

This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that is expected to last 6 months. Depending on your performance and our client’s needs, this assignment could get extended or even result in a permanent position in the company. During the temporary period, you will be able to sign up for LHH’s benefits programs (details below). You will earn between $45.00 and $49.00 per hour in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Driving end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts
• Fulfilling sales orders
• Negotiating subcontracts or long-term purchase orders with suppliers
• Delivering compliant FAR15 packages to government
• Working with the Pricing team to fulfill subcontracts
• All other responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

• Understanding of the DoD Procurement life cycle
• Experience negotiating DoD procurement subcontracts
• At least 3 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
• Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations
• Experience with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
• Procurement experience in aerospace, defense, or similar industries
• Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.
• Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data

Compensation:

• Hourly rate between $45.00 and $49.00
