Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.) for our location in The Woodlands, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing public works projects, including electric power, roadways, drainage systems, water distribution, and wastewater collection.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the planning, design, and construction administration of electric infrastructure projects.

  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation, and assessment for utility infrastructure projects.

  • Prepare detailed reports.

  • Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

  • Analyze processes based on field investigations, drawings, and specifications, and perform necessary calculations.

  • Review and prepare permit applications for federal, state, and local authorities.

  • Perform construction observation and field engineering services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

  • 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a consulting engineering environment focused on infrastructure projects.

  • P.E. license in the State of Texas is required. Will look at someone with EIT.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports.

  • Experience working with utility clients.

  • Progressive experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction administration of infrastructure improvements.

  • Physically capable of performing fieldwork.

  • Construction observation experience is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented team player with strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard engineering software.
