HR Manager
Engineering & Construction
LHH is ramping up a search for an HR Manager in the Tiffin area. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing HR strategies, managing employee relations, recruiting, and hiring talented individuals, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding for new hires.
Oversee employee relations, including resolving workplace conflicts, conducting investigations, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.
Develop and administer HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, career development, and employee engagement.
Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, payroll administration, and benefits enrollment.
Conduct training sessions on HR policies, diversity and inclusion, and other relevant topics for employees and managers.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
Monitor HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, retention rates, performance metrics) and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improvements.
Stay updated on HR trends and best practices and ensure the company’s HR practices remain compliant with labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master’s degree and/or HR certification preferred)
Proven experience (5+ years) in HR management roles, with a strong foundation in HR practices and employment law.
Demonstrated experience in recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment is preferred.
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
